𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬:
Lawsuits are, by nature, divisive actions: Almost always, there is a "winner" and a "loser", and almost never a "tie". Ending up on the "losing" side of a lawsuit only creates more animosity and division than that which existed previously. Division on our Flow has never been and will never be my goal -- Inclusion through respecting diversity was, is, and always will be.
Lawsuits are never free: Apart from the lining of the pockets of lawyers, lawsuits require the parties to unproductively waste the most precious thing on Earth -- Time.
Lawsuits often damage innocent parties: If the board were to be sued, money would be awarded to the successful plaintiff. If the Errors & Omissions insurance which I hope our board is maintaining is in effect, it likely would not cover illegal acts of the board -- such as Libelous Defamation. Any award a successful plaintiff would be granted would be paid for by the GFA Members at large, and I see absolutely no reason whatsoever to financially punish innocent GFA Members for the (IMHO) habitual illegal misdeeds of the board.
Lawsuits which are kneejerk in nature often fall short: While I am certainly not going to reveal our long term legal strategy, demonstrating a repeated pattern of behaviour by a potential Defendant over the span of years, can and usually does result in a much more successful outcome for a potential Plaintiff. Patience and reasoned, long term planning are often the correct strategy.
I have repeatedly and publicly expressed my sincere disdain for the ways in which at least some members of the currently sitting GFA board conduct themselves. However, I have also repeatedly and publicly expressed my freely admitted flaws, my proven abilities, and my demonstrated willingness to work very hard for all our Members, along with my 100% sincere willingness to set aside my personal thoughts about (IMHO) grossly unethical people who sometimes (IMHO) veer into illegal actions, and to instead work with those same people for the betterment of our entire REAL Goodnow Flow Community Thus far, every single offer of mine to do so has been rejected by the currently sitting board, leaving any reasonable person to wonder just who are those on our Flow genuinely seeking cohesion and who are those seeking only division through alienation? 🤔
