Many years ago when I first became aware of and then began openly opposing the GFA B O D's (Bunch Of Dinosaur's) disgusting and occasionally illegal shenanigans, I genuinely thought all I would have to do is expose to my Fellow Flow Lot Owner's (FFLO's) how revoltingly these dinosaurs behave, and that the situation would then quickly self-correct. Naïve much?
What I fully failed to consider then is that a lot of FFLO's genuinely want to be lied to. "Just tell me what I want to hear, and you're my guy! " is a revoltingly common refrain here on our Flow. I've never been on either end of this kind of "thinking" -- I've never wanted to hear some bullshit story about our Flow, and I have not offered any bullshit stories about our Flow (other than in jest).
I have gotten stuff wrong. More than once. And when I have been made aware of my mistakes, I have apologized and pledged to try to do better, whilst dinosaur-owned yapping little chihuahuas such as meek mike mcg have actually openly excoriated me just for being less than 100% perfect -- like they must be. And despite the repeated and easily disprovable falsehoods of those like linda freiman or jeff cohen, I have publicly stated numerous times that I do not think I know everything. Not even close.
What I have done is repeatedly reach out to the dinosaurs, asking for personal feelings to please be put aside so that everyone can just work together for the benefit of every single FFLO - instead of just the acolytes whom the dinosaurs like or approve of. Every single one of my offers was rudely ignored.
So, who is genuinely "divisive" here? He who reaches out seeking cooperation for the benefit of all, or they who demand unquestioning agreement with every single hai-brained thing they say and do? Who is obviously much more concerned with our REAL Goodnow Flow Community?
He who puts in thousands of manhours of labour for the good of all, or they whose tiny little
egos are so fragile that they are terrified by anyone who dares to see things differently
from them? Who is unafraid to be genuinely honest about both what is right and what
has gone so very wrong on our Flow, and who only says anything and everything just
to bolster their cause, regardless of its lack of basis in truth?
If you like my brutally blunt demeanour or not, I assure you of this:
I'm the exact same way behind your back as I am to your face.
I also 100% assure you that I have clearly seen this is
absolutely not the way the vast majority of these
dinosaurs conduct themselves.
My naiveté has been fully resolved. Sometimes, the best way to fight fire is with fire.
