The big problem with correcting shameful deceptions for honourable folks is that most of us find doing so to be more boring than suffering through interminable commercials on Netflix. So, sincerest apologies in advance for my having to once again set the record straight and give everyone the FULL story, which mr. fibiger so "CONVENIENTLY" manages to avoid doing. If only everyone would just be honourably truthful. 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
The official minutes of the GFA MEMBERS Meeting held last month start off by stupefyingly incorrectly describing it thusly (sic):

I understand I am gonna be vilified by my detractors (yet again) as "divisively" {🙄🙄🙄} nitpicking, but I ask everyone to please keep in mind that these individuals are charged with the custody of literally millions of our and our descendant's dollars. Professionalism, attention to detail, and a duty of care are the very least anyone should expect. If our pooled millions of dollars were your personal millions of dollars, would you feel confident in the handling of your funds by individuals of the following caliber? The bored actually;
got the name of the meeting place wrong,
got the name of the city wrong,
apparently there are 110 days in the month of January on the bored's calendar,
on the bored's Facebook page, they also included a map to this January GFA MEMBERS meeting which directed folks to the wrong location, and,
the chosen facility (presuming it was the same as last year) is up a precipitously steep flight of stairs, making anyone even marginally immobile unable to attend.
Yup, seriously. And things just went RAPIDLY downhill from there......
Following bungling billie's style used in those minutes, The Real Truth is in BOLD, not the baloney:

Answer 2.) It has been received and is reported in the Treasurer’s report. It is NOT for a “tax auction”. As has been practice at the Goodnow Flow, surpluses (and this back dues receipt will contribute to our surplus) are accumulated until we have approximately one year’s budget as surplus. Any surplus in excess of that amount is addressed at the annual meeting with a recommendation from the Treasurer as to what should be done with it. I expect that a pay down of the loan principal is a likely use for this year’s surplus.
Errmmmmm...... I believe the Essex County Department of Real Property's website contains information REFUTING this statement, but of course I could be mistaken. Perhaps mr fibiger will substantiate their claim and advise where precisely we are receiving roughly $25,000 from? Somehow, I doubt they will. Yet as a registered non-profit charity in NYS, the GFA is guided by our bylaws, not by "practice". Therefore, the handling of all our collective funds is required to be done in compliance with our bylaws, and absolutely not guided by mr fibiger's mercurial expectations.
(I asked how I can have my own signed 8 page document exposing the numerous missteps of the currently sitting GFA bored distributed along with all the other "official" documents at the upcoming 2020 AGM, just as the bored did anonymously at the 2019 AGM, wherein Mr. Banovic declared that any GFA Member is free to include any GFA-related documents they want with the "official" materials distributed at the AGM):
Answer 3): I have no idea how to answer this question. There will be a separate table at the check-in area for documents that are not part of the “official packet”. You are welcome to put yours there.
Thank Goodness I don't follow the behaviour of asinine andie cullen, because if I did, now would be the moment I would excoriate mr fibiger for admitting they are an imperfect human being (as everyone except andie seems to be), and simply quite understandably does not know something. Instead, I will just point out that it was perfectly fine for the currently sitting GFA bored to distribute within the official 2019 AGM documents an anonymous, nearly wholly untrue and blatantly defamatory screed at the 2019 AGM, have that distribution affirmed by Mr Banovic (the currently sitting GFA Secretary), deny me any opportunity to rebut that hilariously backfired and cowardly hatchet job, but then turn around and declare that a GFA Voting Member in good standing is not allowed the same right to distribute a SIGNED document which I told mr fibiger would state facts as facts and opinions as opinions, the exact opposite of what the bored did in 2019. Double Standard, Much? There sure ain't nothin' like the flavour of that Good Old Fashioned Hypocrisy! YUMMMM!!!! 😋
(I asked for substantiation of mr fibiger's assertion of last year that certain rights of way are private property, and therefore not open to the use of all GFA Members in good standing:)
Answer 4.: I would suggest looking at the deeds for the GFA members on whose land the roads in question lie. I could find nothing in their deeds that indicated that then GFA or ANY GFA member has an easement over their property. I believe that members whose camps are accessed by those roads have a right of passage, but not any others.
Oh, Dear...... Actually, I did far better than look at deeds. Still, mr fibiger baselessly and repeatedly rebuked me for stating my assertion that these roads are rights of way and not private property as mr fibiger has declared - an assertion which I have verified with the relevant governing authority; namely, the Essex County Department of Real Property, whilst mr fibiger has provided absolutely NO substantiation for their claim whatsoever, apart from their wholly unsubstantiated "belief". Perhaps mr fibiger should take guidance from the bored's own now notorious 8 Pages of Toilet Tissue, quoted here...?:
"Check your source before presuming or posting, and then you won't need to ask to be corrected or need to print numerous retractions. What can we expect to believe as fact and what is merely (their) assumptions/opinions? I believe (they) lose(...) credibility and become(...) a divisive influence on (our MUTUALLY Treasured) Flow." [NOTE: inconsequential pronoun editing required mostly by the shift in grammar tense between their baloney and the actual whole story.]
I think mr fibiger would probably do well to follow the incredibly arrogant "advice" as so kindly laid out in the now notorious mr fibiger-approved 8 Pages of Toilet Tissue. How does that saying go about glass houses and stones...?

Response: This screed is a crude attempt to cut the heart out of an all volunteer organization. The Audit Committee is really a committee of one.
The first sentence is just the latest of mr fibiger's numerous outrageous lies - plain and simple - and therefore unworthy of anyone's time or comment. The second sentence has made the situation all that much more urgent. My blog post being referred to (found HERE:) actually made one simple request:

Whenever any self-declared retired career INFORMATION Technology technician goes to these outrageous extremes to futilely try to prevent the full and free disclosure of GFA INFORMATION, deafeningly loud alarm bells need to be going off in every single GFA Member's head.

mr fibiger has now freely admitted in the already cloud-preserved GFA minutes that I started asking these questions on October 20, 2019, and that no attempt to answer them was undertaken until January 10, 2020. I actually started asking questions MUCH earlier, but at least mr fibiger freely admits to being astonishingly arrogantly fine with taking more than THREE MONTHS to respond to polite GFA-related queries asked by a dues-paying Voting GFA Member in good standing. This is wholly unacceptable and will not stand. Under NYS law, mr fibiger and the GFA bored as a whole both have a fiduciary responsibility to reply in a reasonable and timely manner to Member queries. One way or another, I shall make sure they do.
Please remember, the GFA bored exists to SERVE the GFA, absolutely NOT the other way around. If you politely asked your local mayor a question about the governance of your town, and your mayor told you they will take their own sweet time to answer, and then only provided half-answers and still more opinions dishonestly presently as truths more than THREE MONTHS LATER, would you sit still? I kinda hope not. When the digital GFA Archive is complete and our descendants can see how bungling billie treated GFA Voting Members in good standing possessed of sufficient "temerity" to simply dissent and politely ask questions, I hope everyone will be happy with the documented legacy they have left behind.
The most egregious and apparently bored-sanctioned deceit being perpetrated upon the GFA Membership by asinine andie cullen's hand-picked (absolutely NOT legitimately elected successor) mr fibiger is so intensely serious that it warrants its own blog entry. Kindly allow it to suffice for now to say that I absolutely did not "question" anything - that's just another of mr fibiger's lies. What I did was point out absolute reality, which some apparently find to be inconvenient. Full disclosure regarding the most damning deceit of mr fibiger which we have uncovered so far will be forthcoming soonest. Thank you most kindly for your kind patience.
